Soufjan El Baroudi is an expert in the field of project and real estate finance. He specializes in structuring and advising on complex financing transactions, particularly within the energy transition and the real estate sector. With a pragmatic and hands-on mentality, he strategically guides his clients through every phase of a deal.
Before co-founding Mobius in 2022, Soufjan worked for 10 years at A&O Shearman, where he was involved in the largest and most complex financing transactions in the Netherlands. His experience, combined with his broad and in-depth knowledge of financing structures, makes him a versatile advisor.
Soufjan graduated cum laude from the prestigious Grotius Academy and obtained his master’s degrees in Private Law and Corporate Law from the University of Groningen. Additionally, Soufjan is a lecturer in project finance at the VU Law Academy and the Center for Postgraduate Education (CPO).
