Bianca Mwangi specialises in the legal structuring of renewable energy projects. She advises developers and lenders on both project financings and the commercial contracts required for these projects, including EPC, O&M and cable pooling agreements and land rights (leasehold and superficies rights). Her practice focuses on energy storage systems, solar and wind projects, and innovative circular value chains.
With experience as both an attorney at law and interim in-house counsel in the energy transition, Bianca understands the legal and commercial interests behind a transaction. Clients describe her as a committed sparring partner who keeps sight of the bigger picture and gets things moving quickly.
Bianca studied Dutch law at Radboud University Nijmegen. Previously, she worked at Loyens & Loeff and Stek. At Stek, she was a member of the integrated energy team and seconded to Rabobank. Prior to joining Mobius, Bianca worked as an independent lawyer and interim in-house counsel in the energy transition sector.
